We are thrilled to invite you out to Petrichor for another summer of amazing camps!

If you're looking for engaging, fun, and outdoor plans for your elementary age kiddos this summer - Petrichor Camps are a must. There are seven different weeks of camp, each with a unique and student-centered theme. A highlight of every camp is campers get loads of time outside and fun with friends. Petrichor School offers a range of summer camps that are designed to be both engaging and educational. Our programs provide students with unique opportunities to explore new and existing interests, make new friends, and learn in a supportive and caring environment.

Ms. Ashley has over a decade of experience teaching, coaching, and creating memorable experiences for her students.  She will guide your child through hands-on projects, nurture play and exploration on the 5 acre campus, and design weekly camp themes that will spark students' creativity and curiosity. Children will leave camp with crafts to hang on the fridge, new skills to share with loved ones, and stories of new experiences and memories.

All camps are Monday - Friday, 9:00-3:30pm.

Earliest drop off is 8:55am and latest pick up 3:35pm.

Tuition is $250/week or $60/ day for drop in rates

WEEK 1: MAY 28-31 2025

AMAZING ARTISTS

Unleash your child's creativity and join us for an amazing adventure in the arts. Our Amazing Artists camp is the perfect opportunity for young artists to explore their passions and develop their skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. 

​

Our experienced instructor will guide campers through a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media as we study famous artists and their work. 

 

Students will bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottle. Please send your child in clothes and shoes that are okay to get messy.

​

Families will be invited to participate in a 'Gallery Walk' at the end of the week to celebrate our brave explorers. The Gallery Walk will be 1:30 - 2:00 on Friday afternoon. 

​

At Petrichor School, we believe that creativity knows no bounds and that everyone has the potential to be an amazing artist. Whether campers are a beginner or an experienced artist, our camps are designed to help your child grow, have fun, and create their own masterpieces.

**No camp on Monday in observance of Memorial Day**

WEEK 2: JUNE 10-14 2025

CREEPY CRAWLIES

Does your child love to bring you worms, bugs, and all sorts of creepy crawlies? Do they find insects, butterflies, and other tiny friends fascinating? If so, Week 2 is for them! During this week at Petrichor explorers will get their hands dirty finding  and learning about all sorts of creatures, exploring nature, and enjoying the outdoors.

 

Students will bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle. Please send your child in clothes and shoes that are okay to get dirty.

​

Families will be invited to participate in a 'Insect Investigation' at the end of the week to celebrate our brave explorers. The Insect Investigation will be from 1:30 - 2:00 on Friday afternoon. 

​

Earliest drop-off 8:55, and latest pick-up is 3:35 during the week.

​

Baking Cookies

WEEK 3: JUNE 17 - 21 2025

BE A BAKER!

Does your child love to bake and spend time in the kitchen? Do they enjoy creating their own recipes? If so, sign them up for Be a Baker before slot fill up. This week will be filled with baking cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and more. Beginner and experienced bakers are welcome. This is going to be the tastiest week of the summer!

Our experienced instructor will provide a safe and nurturing environment for campers to learn, try new skills, and have fun. And, while we will love our time in the kitchen we will also have plenty of time spent outside in the garden finding special ingredients for our creations. Students will be able to enjoy the sun, fresh air, and beautiful scenery while they bake and build friendships.

​

Students will bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle. Please send your child in clothes and shoes that are okay to get dirty. If they have an apron, they are welcome to bring it.

​

Families will be invited to participate in a 'Bakery Open House' at the end of the week to celebrate our beautiful bakers. The Open House will be from 1:30 - 2:00 on Friday afternoon.

WEEK 4: JUNE 24-28 2025

LET'S GO LEGO!

Are you ready to unleash your creativity and imagination with Legos? Our summer camp provides the perfect opportunity for campers to build, create, and compete Lego challenges with friends as they explore their building skills.

Our experienced instructor will guide campers through a variety of exciting Lego challenges and building projects, where they can showcase their talents and have fun with friends. 

​

Whether you're a seasoned Lego builder or just starting out, our summer camp will offer a fun and engaging learning environment that will inspire and challenge campers of all skill levels. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, campers will have the opportunity to work together with their peers to complete Lego building projects and explore their creative potential.

WEEK 5: JULY 8-12 2025

MAKE A SPLASH! WATER CAMP

This summer, make a splash and join us for our exciting Wild Water Camp! This camp is perfect for young scientists and adventurers who love the outdoors and want to have fun with water.

 

Campers will have the opportunity to explore the amazing properties of water through hands-on experiments and activities. During Week 5 of Petrichor Summer camps, children will get to learn about the science of water and how it affects our daily lives. And the best part? They will be able to put their newfound knowledge into practice as they play with water and participate in fun, water-based games, activities. 

​

Our experienced instructor will provide a safe and nurturing environment for campers to learn, grow, and have fun. And with plenty of time spent outside campers will be able to enjoy the sun, fresh air, and beautiful scenery while they play and explore. 

​

Students will bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle. Please send your child in swim suits, and send extra clothes and shoes that are okay to get wet & messy.

 

Earliest drop-off 8:55am, and latest pick-up is 3:35pm. Friday, pick up will be at 2pm.

MAKERS SPACE

Ignite your imagination and dive into the world of innovation at our "Makers Space" camp. If you love to tinker, create, and build, this camp is tailor-made for you!

Campers will explore the boundless possibilities of our fully-equipped Makers Space, where they'll have access to a variety of materials and challenges each day.

​

Our experienced instructors will guide campers through hands-on projects that encourage creativity and critical thinking.

Throughout the camp, participants will collaborate on exciting challenges and unleash their inventiveness. Whether you have a budding engineer, artist, or tech enthusiast, the Makers Space camp provides the ideal platform to turn your child's ideas into reality.

WEEK 7: JULY 29-AUG 2 2025

GROW A GARDENER

Petrichor School's Gardener Camp is the perfect summer activity for kids who love nature, plants, and being outside. This fun and educational program will help kids explore their green thumb, as they learn how to plant, care for, and harvest their own crops. With the hands-on learning, creative activities, and outdoor adventures, this camp is designed to inspire young minds and get them excited about the wonders of gardening.

During the week long program, kids will have the opportunity to: 

- plant a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers

- learn how to care for their plans, including watering, nurturing, and pruning

- get hands-on experience in our school garden with composting and soil preparation

- discover the secretes of the food cycle and learn how plants grow

- take part in games and activities that teach the importance of sustainability

- explore the local ecosystem and learn about the types of plants and animals that live here

- meet other kids who share their love for nature and gardening
